Yamaha Special Tools 1968

As there are many requests asking: "how to" hereby a nice old Yamaha Special Tools booklet from 1968, so exactly 40 years old.

Several of these tools can be made quite easily. I also made (with some help) some of the tools which were not available at that time.

Crankshaft pullers can be made according to the motorcycles you have (crankshaft dimension/thread). This one has been made for the DS6

The small bolt with the threaded pin is used on the ignitionside when the second crankcase half is carefully fitted.

Once the crankshaft is fitted properly in the first crankcase half, the rest is a piece of cake.....
