When the XS2 finally was "remodelled" into the European Specification XS650, Yamaha Motor Amsterdam carried out exhaustive Autobahn tests in Germany.

I will try later to write some more about this adventure. But to start with, this was the team of Dutch riders (I do hope someone recognizes himself, please send an e-mail...!) together with myself, Fujimori-san (already mentioned in the first test in Japan with the XS1) and Nakano-san, Project Engineer. Nakano-san worked later-on in Amsterdam and was also instrumental in organizing the Yamaha Factory in Turkey. We all look a bit different now, it is 33 years ago.......!
