I received again some nice pictures of American riders with their TD1 powered dirt-track machines in the 1960's.

Fred Edward, Yamaha dirt track

This is Fred after he had won the 1969 Daytona Novice Short track race.

Keith Mashburn, Yamaha dirt track

Keith Mashburn's bike had a Sonicweld frame and was built in 1968. As the tailpipes from the exhausts are smaller in diameter already it is probably already a TD1C engine. same goes for Fred Edward's bike of course.

Hopefully some of our American friends do know more about these riders and when these pictures were taken?
