Over the years the new Yamaha TZ250's changed only in details, so that many parts can be exchanged.

This V-twin is a "bitza" to be used in those events where these modern bikes are allowed. Fortunately we have these every now and then in the Netherlands. As the V-twin series differed only in detail during the first few years (4DP-4TW models), many parts could be used. It has an early fueltank but a later, modified seat unit, 1996 "kit" exhaustpipes and cylinders and so on. The radiator leaked so I found a later "curved" radiator but as that was much wider the cowling had to be made wider as well. It was a nice project last winter. See how it goes this season!
