The Yamaha TZ250H/J was the first of a new generation of 250's.
My TZ250J was found as a trade-in in a dealershop in Tokyo way back in 1992. The first owner tried it once on a racetrack and did not like it! he trade it in for a Kawasaki chopper! (so much for taste). It is very original, even the cowling is the factory one. It proudly wears the marks "CS" as during the 2004 Spa-Francorchamps Classic Bike event Christian Sarron rode it and was very happy with it. I started using it first time in 2000, when Ferry Brouwer invitied me to become part of his team (all famous riders and my name is "nobody"!). The machine runs beautifully and so far has done these 8 seasons with only a change of oil, one new set of tyres and 2 new pistonrings !!!! I am either very slow or the Yamaha quality is fantastic (or both)
