As a tribute to the old generation I want to show you that I come from a motorcycling family.

On the left is my Grandfather with next to him his brother-in-law, both proudly posing with their machines. They were the first two bikers in the village were I was born. The right-hand machine is a Dutch Simplex, I am still trying to decipher the brand of the bike my Granddad had. The picture is taken around 1910......, so nearly 100 years ago.

They seem to be ready for a big trek when you look at the luggage, but in those days you needed that probably for a 50 km trip or so.....!
