Right up into the 1960's Nippon Gakki, Yamaha Motor's mother company, ran the actual sales activities in Europe.
I got this letter years ago from the Dutch Importer at that time, the late Mr. Hans Moerkerk. Advertising and Sales promotion was just done in one go! Now companies need all kind of specialists for all this. In 1966 Mr. Ohara simply wrote a letter to Mr. Moerkerk and waited for the order. We make things far too complex today.....................! |
