Hello, I wonder if anyone knows the differences between the TZ350F&G regarding the _frame_. I´ve checked TZ350.com and can only find out that the F was known for developingcracks in the _frame_ (headstock area & rear engine mounts) My _frame_ (F) has heavily repaired engine mounts and reinforced headstock (4 tri-angular bits welded on as support) Have seen a _frame_ (G?) where the two tubes at the front of the _frame_ (below headstock) has an extra "skin" / "tube-half" (tube cut lengthwise) welded on. Could that be from factory on the G-model? Jens
Hello Jens, I do not know this by head. I will check it on my own TZ350G. When Yamaha modifies a part the partnumber changes at the end from "00" into "01" or "02". But details are not always given. Only when appearance of the item changes. When dimensions do not change, the new part is automatically supplied when the old irems are exhausted. Even the partslists did not change. Now that is different, as all parts list are electronic. Kind regards, Ludy Beumer
Hello Jens-San (keep it Japanese!) I checked it quickly today, but the partnumber for the _frame_ "F" and "G" is identical, so the only possibility is that Yamaha changed somewhat the process of the _frame_welding. Same partnumber means that no new drawing was made. So I do think there is no difference, whatever others say! With kind regards, Ludy Beumer
