No, everything is different in size. Crankcases, studbolts, etc. You can swap DS7/R5 parts with RD250/350 (but not RD400 as it has a long stroke crank).You can only use the pistons/rings. But who wants used pistons when you are restroring a bike? Normally it never functions well.

i noticed as usual the parts were to hard to find.i ended up getting 53.96 pistons and ydt .1 overbore rings.also purchased a gasket kit and carb rebuild kit.should be on the road soon.hopefully.finally got the piston loosened from the wall.come to find the cylider wall seems to be in decent shape.still cant find a clutch cable.

Can you send me your name and address by e-mail? Then I will try to find an old clutch cable that might be useable, a new one is too hard too find I reckon.

finished rebuilding the topend yesterday.compression sounds good.the carb rebuild is finished. i finally got the clutch cable i need so thats a relief.going to get that on the bike today.need to find the rubber from carb to engine its not goin back on.hoping to get on the road soon.things are looking good.
