I feel the YDS-2 is the most beautiful Yamaha Racer ever build - do you agree?

Re:YDS2 6 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Hey guys.
I'm in the process of restoring a 1966 YM1. While I was at the salvage yard the other day looking for parts I came across two pretty complete YDS2's. The only problem is they both look like they have been sitting out-doors for 10 years. I was trying to collect some information about the bikes such as value and parts availability. I was ultimately wondering if these bikes are worth saving from the salvage yard.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

hi there I think any bike of that era could be worth restoring at least if you bought both you could make one good bike .I don't know where you are _base_d so the climate would make a differance if left outside for long periods cheers

I'm in Missouri. We have four full seasons here. The bikes are very weathered. lots of rust on them. I will take a picture of them next time i am out there. Any idea on what a restored example is worth?
