Kris Zamora from Utah, USA, painstakingly restored a 1967 Yamaha YR1 Kris Zamora took a very great effort in restoring the Yamaha YR1. He is now studying the detailed photos from the original photos of the first test bike in the Netherlands I recently added, to see whether he mis-routed a wire or so! This man is very, very accurate. I will ask him for some larger pictures as well.This machine won already for 2 years running the "Best Japanese bike" Award at the annual "Miller Motorsports Park" event, near Tooele, Utah. kris will continue to bring his bike to the show until a better bike arrives! So, gentlemen, here is your chance! Kris wants to give also full credit to the guys who helped him in the restoration, Shawn Player and Pat "Wanted Dead Or Alive", both from Salt Lake City.
