A very rare Yamaha was found by Dean Wright from the USA. As you all do know, Yamaha made many different versions of their 50 cc and 80 cc basic models. Utilizing the basic engines and the strong "Y" shaped frames street and semi off-road bikes were launched.The G7S is very special. basically it is the F5/FS1 model that was very popular in Europe, but with an 80 cc engine and sporty high-up exhaust. Dean will send some better pictures later.

Here are the promised photo's of the Yamaha G7S. Dean wrote that this is the machine as he purchased/found it. It has not even beem washed or polished. Yiou have to agree that it is in a very good condition.

It must have been an eye-catcher in those days, but I feel that even today it is very pretty. I like the typical period high level exhaust very much. We never saw these bikes in Europe.
