Yamaha XS650 collection

Dutchman Jan Smit is a Yamaha XS650 Collector already for many years. His collection varies all the time. Here are a few examples of his stable today. (I have asked him for more details.....!)

One of his prides is of course this fantastic restored early XS2. Spot-on in all the details and with the original colour scheme.

XS's are easy to convert and here is a "Caferacer" example owned by Jan. But it is quite a "Special" as you can read on the next page.

He just completed this machine, which has a 270 degrees crankshaft. Jerry van der Heijden, the Dutch XS specialist did the job and also fitted a "Megacycle" camshaft, a 750 ccm conversion and other valve springs. All this results in an engine that happily spins to over 9.000 rpm!

Another nice special is this double disc-braked machine

I do hope that Jan comes soon with the details, so that I can add them!
