Proudly Yamaha announces the YD2 (see my own bike for reference). Pressed steel frame, 16 inch wheels, good electrics (12V), Dynastart system ,etc.

And this is the second bike in the range the (as the YD2) Dynastart 125 cc YA3. Styling of these 2 motorcycle was very much the European "sad" 1950's style, all black and simple line. This would very soon change into the flashy colours of the next generation of Japanese motorcycles.

And the backpage, where you can read that in those early years Nippon Gakki was the Exporter and Yamaha simply the manufacturer. Also that changed very quickly!
